A property came on the market For Sale on Monday and was shown Tuesday evening and subsequently went Under Offer/Sold (stc) on Wednesday.

Another property came on To Let at 3pm on Wednesday and was Let By 6pm the same day.

Dalington Estate Agents suggest that this is not uncommon at present with a seeming heightened demand from both sales applicants and would be tenants in spite of adverse press reports.

They seem to suggest that they have an enormous bank of ready, willing and able (Vetted), Buyers and Prospective Tenants but not enough stock to satisfy demand.

Home Information Packs HIPs Scrapped

Homes marketed from 21st May 2010 will not require Home Information Packs HIPs, but will still require an Energy Performance Certificate EPC. This would save vendors on average £300 when they put their property on the market, this move will also encourage home sellers to put their properties onto he the propety market knowing they don’t have to stump up about £300 for something that was not working for the property market.

This is great news and is most welcomed by property professionals and vendors. This will help the UK property market to recover so now could be a good time to sell your home.
